Job Responsibilities:

  • Attend/collaborate with team during daily production meetings.
  • Perform work as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy.
  • Communicate with estimators and parts associates to obtain necessary parts.
  • Assess vehicle condition to determine if additional safety or repair work is needed.
  • Perform al body repairs according to estimate.
  • Perform welding, soldering, body alignment, and frame/unibody repairs.
  • Inspect all work performed as a Quality Control (QC) measure as soon as jobs are completed.
  • Mix all chemicals according to manufacturer directions/specifications.
  • Understand and abide by all federal, state, and local regulations that affect Collision Center operations - such as hazardous waste disposal and OSHA guidelines.
  • Gain superior product knowledge to provide high quality repairs.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 6 year service technician experience or the equivalent in related fields preferred.
  • Willing and able to spend extended periods of time standing, stooping, crawling, and bending.
  • Must furnish own hand/shop tools.
  • Certification from college or technical school in trade field preferred, but applicable work experience would also be considered.
  • ICAR certification (preferred ) or interest to become certified.
  • OEM Certification (preferred) or interest to become certified.
  • Must have a valid in-state driver's license with an acceptable, safe driving record.
  • Willing to work overtime as needed.
