- Assist external customers with "over the counter" parts purchases
- Prepare items for shipment
- May prepare customs documents and shipping declarations as required
- Observes all safety, environmental, and general housekeeping rules, and policies
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation
- May perform other duties as assigned by management
- Perform simple math calculations
- Listen and effectively present information to and communicate with groups of customers, vendors, and employees
- Report to work in a regular and timely manner
Full description
- Carry out tasks based on customer and facility demands. Responsible for performing/assigning/supervising weekly cycle counts, aged or expired inventory audits, and year-end inventory. Responsible for maintaining, auditing, certification, and documentation of calibrated and non-calibrated tooling Maintain/Nurture relationships with suppliers. Reconcile vendor invoices against purchase orders. Order, stock, and inventory all parts and supplies for the facility. Assist both internal and external customers with parts and stock requirements. Maintain s valid driver's license. Excellent customer service skills. Understanding of Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) related to aircraft parts preferred. Previous experience in supply chain operations and/or inventory management preferred. Report to work in a regular and timely manner. Must show initiative and have great organizational skills.
