Senior Financial Analyst

Rapidly growing Aircraft Sales & Service company based in Pompano Beach, FL is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to create and monitor budgets, analyze potential acquisitions and assist in preparation of quarterly board reports.  Position reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer.  Some travel may be required. 

Qualifications:

• The ideal candidate will have several years of well-rounded financial analysis and budgeting experience in a fast-paced corporate environment.   Must have the ability to multi-task and adapt to a dynamic business environment including dealing with all levels of management.  Industry experience is not mandatory, but prior  experience in an MRO or manufacturing environment is highly desirable.   Prior experience preparing high level board reporting is mandatory.  Basic understanding of GAAP accounting would be helpful.  Salary is flexible depending on experience. Responsibilities include:

• Preparation of annual budgets, including projected P&L’s, Balance Sheets and Cash Flows.
• Monthly/Quarterly reports detailing actual vs budget and updated projections.
• ROI Analysis of potential acquisition targets.
• Other duties as directed by the CFO or Ownership.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with major in Finance or Accounting is highly desirable.  Master’s degree is a bonus.

Computer:

• QuickBooks experience is mandatory.
• Advanced experience with all Microsoft applications, especially Excel.  Candidate will be expected to create graphs, utilize pivot tables, and present KPI’s in a highly understandable format.
• Experience implementing sophisticated FP&A systems is highly desirable
