Position: Operations Supervisor
GAT Sky Café is hiring reliable and motivated individuals to join our team at Austin-Bergstrom Airport as Operations Supervisors. In this role, you'll oversee team activities, communicate policies, and help create a safe and efficient work environment. You'll be working in a fast-paced setting, managing time-sensitive tasks, and maintaining a professional image.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise a team of Customer Service Representatives delivering services to airlines.
  • Ensure on-time service, cleanliness, and high customer satisfaction.
  • Manage team communications, safety checks, and compliance with procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with uniform and personal protective equipment (PPE) policies
(safety shoes, uniform cleanliness, jewelry).
  • Oversee uniforms and safety equipment policies.
  • Supervise flight operations to meet safety and timeliness standards.
  • Delegate tasks and manage staff schedules.
  • Participate in the Safety Management System (SMS) and conduct pre-arrival and departure safety briefings.
  • Ensure adherence to airline standard operating procedures.
  • Oversee aircraft loading according to operational instructions and ensure necessary safety equipment is available.
  • Ensure foreign object debris walks are completed as required.
  • Manage manpower scheduling and rotations.
  • Report aircraft issues to the flight crew.
  • Submit SMS reports within 3 hours of any incident.
  • Complete logs for catering, refrigeration, and containers.
  • Coordinate catering, bond, and commissary needs for each flight, following all airline SOPs.
  • Supervise job duties and ensure timely completion.
  • Work as part of a team or independently with minimal supervision.
  • Keep the Operations Manager informed of any operational changes.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  • Participate in meetings, offering input and recommendations.
  • Provide ongoing training and support for staff.
  • Oversee aircraft turnaround activities.
  • Ensure service delivery meets SLA standards, compliance, and safety requirements.
  • Maintain the safety and security of all employees.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
  • 2-3 years of experience in Last Mile Logistics or related industries.Strong problem-solving and leadership skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with logistics software is a plus.
  • Open availability, including weekends and holidays.
  • Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Valid driver’s license and a clean criminal record.
  • Ability to obtain necessary airport security clearances.
  • Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs regularly.
  • Ability to work within tight time constraints.
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, holidays, and varying schedules.
  • Must successfully complete airline and corporate-specific training and recertification.

Job Details:
  • Full-time, 8-hour shifts (with possible extended shifts).
