Job Summary:
The Mechanical CAD Designer will be responsible for determining and documenting the layout and design of permanently installed products and systems used for on-going building maintenance and window washing. This role requires collaboration with sales and engineering teams to develop conceptual layouts and product specifications.
Key Tasks:
- Read and interpret blueprints, architectural drawings, and schematics
- Document the layout of equipment and design of products using CAD tools
- Generate specifications, manuals, and close-out documentation for specific projects
Requirements:
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and mechanical blueprints
- Three years of experience with CAD software (AutoCAD or SolidWorks)
- Associate's degree in engineering or engineering technology preferred
