Sky Climber Renewables in Colorado (CO) is actively seeking skilled, full-time Wind Technicians who are interested in learning to climb, service and maintain a fleet of wind turbines at the new Cheyenne Ridge 2 Wind Farm near Seibert, CO. You will receive full GWO Certification (valid for 2 years) at our accredited training facility in Portland, Oregon (valued at $15,000). After the initial 3-week training is complete, you will receive regional, hands-on training which will require 100% travel to adjacent sites within the first 2-4 months.
Enjoy fully covered hotel accommodation, tax free per diem ($40/day), travel incentive ($24/day), and transportation during all travel assignments, where applicable. Once training is complete and the site is commissioned, technicians will transition to a full-time, local placement at the Cheyenne Ridge 2 Wind Farm.
Local technicians will work Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM and earn a competitive starting wage of $19.47 - $22.00/hour. TECHNICIAN QUALIFICATIONS
· Mechanical aptitude and willingness to work-at-heights
· Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and within 80 miles of job location
· Ability to pass drug screen, physical and background check
