Sky Factory is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented person to join our production team. The position will include working in our print room; printing, laminating, and mounting large format images of nature onto different substrates as well as contributing to other production processes including assembly of LED lighting fixtures and cutting and assembly of different types of wood and aluminum frames.

Print room duties & skills include:

-Large format printing of nature images using RIP queue software

-Laminating large format images

-QC images to a stringent quality standard

-Measure and cut plastic substrates to precise dimensions

-Precisely mount images onto plastic substrates

-Regularly assess stock of raw materials used in the print process and communicate with purchasing

-Maintain a meticulous clean-room type environment

-Perform routine maintenance of equipment such as large-format printers and laminator

-Must have the ability to multi-task and keep orders highly organized

-Must have good communication skills with teammates, with the ability to give and receive constructive criticism

Other Production duties include:

-Cutting metal, wood, and plastics

-Assembly of LED light fixtures

-Testing, QC inspecting, packing, and palletizing products

-Identifying and implementing process improvements

-Coordinating weekly production with teammates

-Receiving and storing inventory

Previous printing experience is preferred; quality control and forklift experience are a plus.
