Sky Harbor Shuttle is looking for the right candidate to fill the role of Dispatcher / Customer Service Representative in our Dispatch office located in Aberdeen, Washington. We are a thriving Non-Emergency Medical, Airport Shuttle, and For-hire transport service operating throughout Grays Harbor, Mason, Pierce, Thurston, Lewis, Pacific, Okanogan, Douglas, Chelan, Kittitas and Yakima Counties.
The ideal Dispatcher will possess the following skills:
- Self-starter that can learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to prioritize several tasks happening at the same time.
- Above average attendance and reliability.
- Must answer phones in a timely, professional, and courteous manner.
- Possess excellent problem-solving skills and analytic thinking skills.
- Be able to take on and master several different tasks as assigned.
- Excellent organization
- Must be able to work independently as well as part of a group
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol test
- Prior dispatching experience preferred.
- Fluent in both English and Spanish
Position Description:
The Dispatcher will answer calls and schedule rides for non-emergency medical transportation as well as private for hire and airport shuttle trips.
Dispatchers Must be able to:
- Work in a fast paced environment
- Be able to handle stressful situations calmly
- Be able to type 50wpm accurately
- Be able to learn all dispatching software
- Be flexible with duties
- Have a great and friendly attitude
- Answer phones in a pleasant and helpful manner
- Be able to take direction
- Speak fluent English and Spanish
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $18.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
