Our mission is to foster a passion for sports through well-maintained grounds, courts, and equipment. We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Sports Ambassador to join our team and help us maintain the high standards our guests expect.
Position Overview: The Sports Ambassador will be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of our sports grounds, courts, and equipment. This role requires a blend of technical skills, attention to detail, and a passion for sports to ensure our facilities remain in optimal condition for all users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on sports grounds, including fields, courts, and surrounding areas.
- Maintain and repair sports equipment, ensuring safety and functionality.
- Oversee the setup and takedown of sports events, including equipment placement and field preparations.
- Coordinate with other team members and departments to ensure smooth operations and address any facility-related issues promptly.
- Monitor inventory levels of maintenance supplies and equipment, placing orders as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment usage.
- Provide excellent customer service to guests and users, addressing any concerns or feedback regarding facilities.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and organizational policies.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or vocational training in maintenance or sports facility management is a plus.
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance, sports ground upkeep, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of sports equipment and court maintenance practices.
- Ability to perform physical tasks related to maintenance and repair work.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a diverse team.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as required.
Salary : $16 - $20
