As an Aircraft Maintenance Technician at our academy, you will play a critical role in maintaining the highest standards for our aircraft fleet. Working closely with the flight operations team, you will help ensure the safety and efficiency of our aircraft, reflecting our commitment to excellence in aviation.
Responsibilities:
- Repair, modify, and alter worn or defective assemblies.
- Follow approved maintenance procedures and FAA-approved technical data.
- Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards.
- Perform serviceability tests on repaired components.
- Complete documentation and submit work for inspection.
- Track time, materials, and tools used in maintenance activities.
Qualifications:
- Current A&P license and a high school diploma (or equivalent), with aircraft maintenance courses.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as an Aircraft Maintenance Technician on general aviation aircraft.
- Required tools for the role.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of FAA requirements for aircraft maintenance procedures.
- Experience with SLSA and Diamond aircraft is preferred.
- Additional hourly pay for IA certification.
