We’re looking for an Avionics Manager to lead our team and oversee avionics maintenance and repair operations. In this role, you’ll ensure FAA compliance, optimize workflows, and uphold the highest safety and quality standards. Your leadership will directly impact operational efficiency and team development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, train, and evaluate the avionics team.
- Oversee avionics maintenance, ensuring FAA compliance.
- Develop and optimize maintenance schedules and workflows.
- Maintain accurate documentation and regulatory adherence.
- Collaborate with the Chief Inspector on quality control.
- Manage inventory, procurement, and department budgets. Stay updated on industry advancements and regulations.
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Expertise in FAA regulations and avionics maintenance.
- Proficiency with maintenance tracking software.
- 7 years of aviation maintenance experience (3 in management, Part 145 preferred).
- FAA A&P certification preferred. Ability to lift 50 lbs, work in confined spaces, and stand for extended periods.
