We’re looking for a Chief Inspector to lead our inspection team and ensure the highest standards of safety, reliability, and FAA compliance. In this key role, you’ll oversee inspections, mentor staff, and collaborate to improve processes—all while making a direct impact on aviation safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop the inspection team.
- Ensure FAA compliance and accuracy in maintenance records.
- Conduct thorough aircraft and maintenance inspections.
- Optimize inspection workflows and collaborate with the Maintenance Manager.
- Investigate discrepancies and recommend corrective actions. Support internal audits and FAA inspections.
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
- FAA A&P and Inspection Authorization (IA) certifications.
- 5 years of aircraft maintenance experience (2 in inspection or supervisory roles, Part 145 preferred).
- Proficiency with inspection tools and maintenance software.
- Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics. Physical ability to lift, bend, and work in confined spaces.
