Overview of the Role:
As an Account Executive, you'll play a key role in developing industry-specific applications and services related to cold spray technology. This position involves working closely with Military Branches and the Office of the Secretary of Defense to secure funding and drive technological integration into sustainment operations. Your contributions will directly impact our growth in domestic and international markets.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic plans for cold spray applications.
- Create business cases with clear revenue, cost, and inventory goals.
- Monitor and achieve development targets, coordinating customer action plans.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure objective success.
- Lead and train a sales team, providing feedback and oversight.
- Develop strategies for sales goals, lead generation, and customer relationship management.
- Design and present compelling sales proposals.
- Track sales, forecast revenue, and assist in pricing strategies.
- Manage sales budgets, conduct market research, and coordinate with marketing.
- Engage with customers, prepare quotes, attend trade shows, and drive business development efforts.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field (preferred).
- 5 years of experience in sales/strategic planning (preferred).
- MBA or equivalent degree (advantageous).
- 10 years of leadership experience (desirable).
- Familiarity with DOD operations and contracting (preferred).
- Strong communication, presentation, and writing skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Ability to interpret financial data and make informed decisions.
- Willingness to travel about 40% of the time.
