Design Engineer (New Product Development)

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Design Engineer with expertise in new product development for the automotive and aerospace industries. This role involves using Siemens NX to design, model, and simulate innovative, high-performance products that meet industry standards and customer requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop new products for automotive and aerospace applications using Siemens NX.
• Create detailed CAD models, assemblies, and technical drawings.
• Perform simulations and engineering analysis to ensure product performance and compliance with industry standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, manufacturing, quality) to optimize product designs.
• Manage the product development lifecycle, from concept to production.
• Conduct design reviews and implement changes based on feedback.
• Ensure timely completion of design projects within budget.
• Continuously improve design processes and methodologies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience in product design and development within the automotive or aerospace industries.
• Proficiency in Siemens NX CAD software (modeling, assembly, and simulation).
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with product lifecycle management (PLM) tools is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations (e.g., ISO, FAA, SAE).
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
