Aerospace Manufacturing Quality Inspector Role Overview:
We are seeking a meticulous and experienced individual to fill this critical role in our aerospace manufacturing quality control process.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all aerospace components and assemblies meet strict quality standards and engineering specifications.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed inspections using Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles and precision measuring tools.
- Verify product dimensions and tolerances using precision measuring tools.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to implement corrective actions for non-conformances.
- Conduct first article inspections (FAI) per AS9102 standards and maintain accurate inspection records.
- Prepare detailed reports for quality audits and compliance checks.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required (Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a technical field preferred).
- 2 years of experience in aerospace manufacturing quality inspection or a related field.
- Strong understanding of GD&T principles.
- Proficiency in using precision measurement tools and CMM programming (preferred).
