Sr. CNC Programmer

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to support the aerospace industry by developing and optimizing CNC programs for prototype production. In this role, you will work closely with machinists and engineers, taking ownership of Mastercam to create precise, high-quality programs for machining complex aerospace components. Your expertise will be essential in translating engineering designs into effective CNC operations, ensuring the accurate and efficient production of one-off parts for aerospace applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot CNC programs using Mastercam for aerospace prototypes.
• Collaborate with machinists and engineers to refine designs and ensure seamless program execution.
• Take ownership of Mastercam software, ensuring it supports efficient and accurate prototype production.
• Interpret technical drawings and CAD files, ensuring parts meet precise aerospace specifications.
• Support machining operations by providing programming expertise and resolving production challenges.
• Maintain a high level of quality control, ensuring parts meet aerospace industry standards.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in CNC programming, with a strong focus on Mastercam.
• Experience working with machinists and engineers in a prototype or low-volume production environment.
• Strong understanding of aerospace materials, machining processes, and industry standards.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and CAD files.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail and precision.
