The Market Attendant is responsible for prompt, friendly service and accurately and efficiently completing guest cash, credit and complimentary transactions also responsible for proper stocking and maintaining the outlet side stations with necessary supplies and clearing and setting tables in designated station.
- Offers exemplary guest service while completing cash, credit and complimentary transactions.
- Efficiently and accurately utilizes point of sale (POS) system to process guest party and/or payment information.
- Familiarizes with service standards for the restaurant, especially table setups, beverage service and pre-busing of tables.
- Cleans and resets tables in accordance with established procedures and sanitation guidelines.
- Stocks service stations, glasses, cups, silverware, etc.
- Monitors and ensures cleanliness of all place settings, tabletops, seats and floor.
- Performs various stock supply duties to maintain par levels of all equipment and dining supplies.
- Properly stocks and maintains outlet side stations.
- Attends periodic meetings and training sessions.
- Complies with all department and company rules, regulations, policies, procedures, internal controls and government rules and regulations.
- Always presents oneself in a neat and clean appearance.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Communicates politely and demonstrates courtesy and professionalism to all guests and internal team members.
- Escalates to management any guest complaints that are not resolved immediately. Communicates to management guest compliments.
- Effectively manages internal and external guest relations, some of which will require levels of patience, tact and diplomacy.
- Responsible for addressing guest and team member issues as appropriate.
- Attends and participates in training sessions as scheduled.
- High school Diploma or education equivalent required.
- Previous customer service experience preferred.
- Ability to interact with mobile devices and touchscreen technology.
- Demonstrates commitment to guest service excellence and ethical conduct.
