The Steward is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of all kitchen equipment, chinaware, flatware, glassware, pots, pans, and work areas and for replenishing supplies with clean ware.
- Clears all food and beverage outlets of dishes, flatware, and related items.
- Maintains the cleanliness of outlets and all kitchen equipment, chinaware, flatware, glassware, pots, pans, and work areas.
- Replenishes supplies with clean ware.
- Complies with all department and company rules, regulations, policies, procedures, internal controls and government rules and regulations.
- Performs all duties in a safe and careful manner.
- Assists service Attendants as necessary.
- Attends periodic meetings and training sessions.
- Picks up mats from various outlets and transports to be cleaned and returned to the respective kitchens.
- Breaks down all kitchen equipment for cleaning using approved chemicals by the company.
- Complies with all department and company rules, regulations, policies, procedures, internal controls, and government rules and regulations.
- Provides outstanding customer and employee service at all times.
- Presents oneself in a neat and clean appearance at all times.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- High school Diploma or education equivalent required.
- Previous customer service experience preferred.
- Ability to understand MSDS paperwork.
