What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parts Clerk position at Sky Transportation Services LLC?
Part’s Clerk Job Duties:
· Maintain optimal and efficient levels of parts
· Maintain a minimum turnaround of parts 30 days or less.
· Create and process purchase orders in the fleet maintenance software
· Order parts for inventory in a timely manner to have for each type of job
· Post parts to work orders
· Work closely with vendors and vendor pricing for optimal efficiency.
· Maintain complete and organized part invoice files.
· Maintain tire inventory and maintain an organized tire warehouse
· Handle all warranty parts and return parts
· Enter in all parts, credits and warranty items for accounts payables.
· Process all invoices and submit payables to accounting department for review
· Adjust physical inventory every 30 days.
· Ensure all parts are barcoded and organized.
· Ensure the parts department is organized and clean.
· Monitor parts room traffic to minimize unauthorized access.
· Be able to achieve 95% inventory record accuracy
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
· Communicate effectively, verbally and in written form
· Be organized and maintain accurate records of all parts company wide
· Operate efficiently and timely
· Be able to posses flexibility and capacity to handle wide range situations
· Be extremely detailed oriented
Must obtain an active driver’s license
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
