Deep Cleaning Staff

JOB SUMMARY:

Deep Cleaning Staff are responsible for the cleanliness of the entire Kitchen as instructed by the Facilities Manager and/or Supervisor. The Deep Cleaning Staff will clean Food and Beverage facilities and equipment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Must follow the established guidelines in food safety and sanitation specifications and standards.

2. Perform deep cleaning kitchen duties such as structural cleaning and cooking equipment cleaning.

3. Responsible for cleanliness of kitchen areas: sweep and mop floors, clean equipment, wash dishes, trash disposal and disposal of cardboard boxes.

4. Assists all other kitchen personnel as instructed.

5. Follows all instructions and performs all tasks as assigned by Facilities management.

6. Always maintains a clean working area and ensures that equipment and work materials are not left in an unsafe or unsightly manner.

7. Must be courteous and respectful toward everyone including employees, supervisors, managers and customers.

8. Perform other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:

· High school diploma or equivalency preferred.

· Must be at least 18 years old.

· Must be able to take and provide written and oral direction in English.

· Must be available to work all shifts including nights, holidays, and weekends.

· Must have excellent attendance.

· Must demonstrate cooperation, support skills, and a willingness to learn.

· Must be positive and willing to work in a multi-cultural team environment.

· Must always remain sensitive to cultural diversity in the workplace.

REASONING ABILITY:

· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and balance multiple priorities successfully.

· Ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions furnished in written and oral form.

· Ability to work in a team environment is necessary.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

· Must be able to lift and move up to 60 pounds.

· Must be able to occasionally lift 50-100 pounds from floor level to chest level during each shift.

· Must be able to frequently bend, squat, kneel, and stoop throughout each shift.

· Must be able to work with some standard cleaning solutions and detergents.

· Must be able to sit, stand, and walk for prolonged periods.

· Must have good vision, hearing, manual dexterity, and flexibility.

· Able to stand on tiled, rubber-mat and carpeted floors for extended periods of time.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

· Must be capable of working in a noisy environment.

· Must be able to work in cold or extreme heat.

· Employee may be exposed to wet conditions, and/or airborne particles that may be toxic or caustic.

· Must be able to constantly work under close surveillance cameras.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:

· Candidate selected for employment will be subject to pre-employment reference and background check.

· Must obtain and maintain a Sky Ute Casino Resort Staff License.

· Must comply fully with all Sky Ute Casino’s Policies and Procedures, Gaming Code Regulations and any applicable policies & regulations set forth by the Casino Resort.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.50 per hour
