Job Description: Arizona Oasis Resort is seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Lead to join our team. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Lead will play a crucial role in ensuring our facilities and grounds for two locations are impeccably maintained, providing a safe and enjoyable environment for our guests. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working hands-on in a beautiful, outdoor setting.
Requirements
- Assist the Maintenance Manager in overseeing the maintenance team and daily operations.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance of buildings, equipment, and grounds.
- Identify and repair issues related to plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and other facility components.
- Ensure all maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including inventory and supplies.
- Coordinate with other departments to address maintenance needs and ensure minimal disruption to guest services.
- Implement and uphold safety protocols and procedures.
- Train and mentor junior maintenance staff.
- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests and situations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a maintenance role, preferably in a resort or similar environment.
- Strong knowledge of building systems, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs.
- Leadership skills with the ability to oversee and guide a team.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts as needed.
- Valid driver’s license.
