Assistant Manager (Sky Zone Charleston)

We are looking for our next rockstar manager to become an integral part of the management team at Sky Zone Charleston. Keeping Sky Zone Charleston thriving requires a diverse set of leadership, coaching and team-building skills and as an Assistant Manager, you will need to be the master of all these skills.

In the park’s fast-paced, dynamic environment, you must exhibit composure and poise as you learn from each new challenge. You will build and inspire high-performing teams with unique individuals who must deliver positive experiences for customers – each and every time.

This position will report to the General Manager (GM) and Owner.

The ideal candidate should have with 2 years’ experience managing teams, a polished yet friendly and sincere communication style, effective and supportive management style, commitment to the highest standards possible in any situation, proven track record of reliability, and a great sense of initiative with proven problem-solving skills.

Key Qualifications & Requirements:

• Proven ability to drive amazing customer experiences — and results — through team development and strong leadership
• Experience with managing multiple deliverables to customers, external and internal
• Experience in operational excellence and the steps required to eliminate process redundancy and wasted time
• Ability to adapt to challenges while remaining calm in a constantly changing environment (having high emotional intelligence and a level head is paramount)
• Retail or Food and Beverage experience a plus, but not required
• College degree or equivalent work experience
• Candidates will need reliable transportation, ability to work evenings and most weekends

About the position:

The Assistant Manager will be involved in all daily management activities, including managing employee schedules and performance, merchandise/inventory, and provide team-first leadership that helps inspire our team leads and staff to provide exceptional customer service at all times.

During GM’s absence, the Assistant Manager will also work closely with the owners to complete assignments that will help meet business objectives.

Compensation $55-$62k, depending on experience.
