Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Assistant Manager to join our team. Responsibilities
- Assist the General and Operations Managers in overseeing daily operations and ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Provide outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining a welcoming environment.
- Manage cash register operations, including processing transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Train and develop team members on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service best practices.
- Lead shifts in the absence of the General Manager & Operations Manager, ensuring smooth operations and staff performance.
- Foster a positive team atmosphere through effective communication and leadership.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a retail environment is preferred; experience as a clerk or cashier is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating positive shopping experiences.
- Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems and cash register operations..
- Proven leadership abilities with experience in shift management or team supervision.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members professionally.
- A willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges within the retail landscape.
