Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a smooth dining experience. Your exceptional hospitality skills will help set the tone for our restaurant, and your ability to communicate effectively will enhance guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables.
- Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart to optimize guest flow.
- Answer phone calls with professionalism, providing information about the restaurant and taking reservations as needed.
- Assist in managing waitlists and inform guests of estimated wait times.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction.
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints with a positive attitude, striving to resolve any issues promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at the host stand and dining area.
- Familiarize yourself with the menu, specials, and promotions to provide accurate information to guests.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality or food service is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on phone etiquette.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- A passion for providing excellent guest services and helping others enjoy their dining experience.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Pay: $11.64 - $13.84 per hour
