SkyBlade Fan Company, a global HVAC manufacturer located in Warren Michigan is looking for a Technical Support Specialist to join our team. This position will work with our customers and internal staff providing product support, installation support as well as troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
We are looking for a person with 3 years of experience in either Product Development, Product support or Customer Service with a technical proficiency. This role consists of working with team members in person as well as customers over the phone & email. We are looking for an energetic, get-it-done professional who aspires to grow personally and professionally.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Provide exceptional customer service while responding to phone, e-mail and online requests for technical support
· Represent the customer to ensure serviceability and product quality issues are being tracked, prioritized, resolved and incorporated into the product release cycle
· Communicate technical issues and solutions to the engineering, QA, sales and support teams as well as to the customer base
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
· 3 years experience in either Product Development, Product Support or Customer Service with a technical proficiency
· High school diploma required; technical certifications are a plus
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
· AutoCAD experience is preferred
· Basic electrical experience preferred
· Self-motivated, able to work well independently, multitask, meet deadlines
· Strong people skills
· Complete fluency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
· Mechanically inclined
· Able body – can work on lifts, move and install testing samples
