The Skybox Account Executive is an independent and motivated individual responsible for leading the pursuit of new business and expanding existing business in target accounts. A successful executive will coordinate the complete sales cycle including lead generation, prospect qualification, and leading the cross-functional pursuit team by providing clear direction on deal strategy: pricing, service, value proposition and presentation message. The focus for this position is on new sales, team selling, and solution selling.
Financial Impact: Secure and exceed annual new account quota objectives assigned by Sales Leader yearly. Understand and develop effective packaging strategies in target accounts. Achieve strategic account growth objectives.

Essential Functions
- Identify, meet, and build relationships with key decision makers and influencers in new target accounts
- Work to understand the strategic role of packaging in target accounts
- Lead the deal pursuit team: create deal strategy, including pursuit plan, pricing strategy and proposal plan of attack
- Administer pipeline and maintain sales pipeline data accurately in sales system
- Deal closing and contract negotiation
- Work collaboratively with Account Managers to support current account business once on-boarded
Additional Responsibilities
- Achieve new account quota
- Drive overall Revenue and Delivered Contribution by identifying and understanding the key business drivers of target accounts
- Deliver customized corrugated and packaging solutions that meet customer strategic objectives
- Understand how Skybox solutions can be customized to meet customer’s needs
- Develop long term strategy to grow Skybox presence in target accounts

Qualifications
- Three (3) to five (5) years or more in selling corrugated packaging, packaging supplies, packaging automation or supply chain solutions or related B2B selling experience
- Ability to identify and develop new business relationships with key decision makers and influencers inside organizations that use packaging through prospecting, referrals, and network development
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
- Capable of delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
- BA/BS degree or equivalent preferred
