Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Kitchen Supervisor to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have experience in food preparation and menu planning, with a strong background in food service. Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menus.
- Plan menus that accommodate dietary restrictions and preferences while maintaining quality standards.
- Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of food items.
- Assist in training kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety practices.
- Monitor inventory levels of kitchen supplies and ingredients, placing orders as necessary.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Cook or in a similar culinary role, preferably in a fine dining or food service environment.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment operation.
- Experience with menu planning and understanding dietary needs is highly desirable.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy kitchen setting.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of food quality.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
- Culinary degree or certification is a plus but not required; relevant experience will be considered.
