Overview
We are looking for the best cocktail Slingers on the island!! If getting slammed makes you smile then lets talk. You must have high volume experience or you will cry in the car on the way home nightly!!
The bar staff needs to be physically fit, you are on you feet moving fast for 8 hours at a time. We are very busy. You must be able to change kegs, that means being agile enough to navigate a full keg cooler lifting and squeezing between 200 pound kegs. You must be comfortable in shorts and a tank top as this is our uniform. We do not schedule around other jobs, we are the top priority so if you chose to work another position you will need to work around us not us around them. Our bar staff makes between 60 to 100k a year so we will not teach you to bartend, you need to have nightclub, high volume experience to be able to work for us as all events we are three deep at the bar. Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, ensuring high-quality presentation and taste.
- Manage bar operations during shifts, including inventory control, ordering supplies, and maintaining cleanliness.
- Train and mentor staff on bartending techniques, customer service standards, and food safety protocols.
- Oversee shift management to ensure smooth operations, addressing any issues that arise promptly.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service during busy periods.
- Maintain knowledge of current trends in the food industry to enhance the beverage menu and improve guest satisfaction.
- Create a welcoming atmosphere for guests by providing exceptional service and engaging with patrons.
Requirements
- Proven experience in bartending or a similar role within the food service industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in culinary operations.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
- A passion for mixology and an eagerness to learn new techniques.
