The travel occupational therapist will provide high-quality occupational therapy services to patients in need of rehabilitation and support. This role requires a strong understanding of occupational therapy principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients based on their unique needs and goals.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine the level of care required by each patient.
- Provide hands-on therapy sessions to patients, including exercises, activities, and other interventions.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and coordination.
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
Requirements:
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) in the state where the facility is located.
- Experience working in a hospital or healthcare setting preferred.
- Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
