The Director of Restaurants will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the restaurant’s operations, driving a culture of service excellence, and ensuring an elevated guest experience that aligns with the resort’s five-star standards. This role requires a dynamic leader with a passion for hospitality, strong operational expertise, and a proven track record in managing luxury dining environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Leadership: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring seamless service and alignment with the resort’s luxury standards.
- Guest Experience: Create and maintain an exceptional dining experience, with a focus on personalized service, attention to detail, and guest satisfaction.
- Team Development: Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, professionalism, and collaboration.
- Financial Management: Develop and manage budgets, control costs, and optimize profitability while maintaining the highest standards of quality.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Executive Chef and culinary team to curate innovative menus, seasonal offerings, and unique dining experiences.
- Standards & Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, licensing requirements, and resort policies.
- Strategic Growth: Identify opportunities for growth, service enhancements, and operational efficiencies to maintain the restaurant’s competitive edge.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of leadership experience as a Restaurant General Manager in a luxury resort, fine dining establishment, or ultra-luxury hospitality environment.
- Proven track record in managing high-volume, high-end operations with a focus on guest satisfaction and service excellence.
- Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, cost control, and revenue management.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate diverse teams.
- Passion for hospitality, food & beverage trends, and creating memorable guest experiences.
- Degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.
