Security Manager

SkyBridge Luxury & Associates is partnering with an ultra-luxury resort in Palm Desert to source an experienced Security Manager with a background in luxury hospitality. This pivotal role requires a strategic leader who can oversee all aspects of safety and security operations while ensuring an exceptional guest experience aligned with Forbes Five-Star service standards.

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Security Manager who is experienced in luxury hotel security, crisis management, and guest protection. This role involves leading a dedicated security team, implementing comprehensive security protocols, and collaborating with other departments to maintain a safe and secure environment for high-profile guests and valuable assets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Security Operations Management: Oversee daily security operations, including patrols, surveillance, access control, and emergency response protocols, ensuring a safe and secure environment for guests and staff.
• Team Leadership & Training: Recruit, train, and supervise a high-performing security team, maintaining high standards of professionalism, guest engagement, and emergency preparedness.
• Luxury Guest Protection: Ensure the safety and privacy of high-profile guests, working closely with VIP services, event planners, and external security agencies to coordinate personal protection and secure event logistics.
• Crisis Management & Emergency Response: Develop and implement emergency response plans, crisis management strategies, and evacuation procedures. Conduct regular safety drills and training sessions to ensure staff preparedness.
• Security Protocols & Compliance: Establish and maintain comprehensive security protocols in line with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as the resort’s Forbes Five-Star standards.
• Incident Reporting & Investigation: Oversee incident reporting, investigations, and documentation, ensuring accurate and timely communication with senior management and external authorities when necessary.
• Surveillance & Access Control: Manage the resort’s surveillance systems, access control procedures, and key management protocols, ensuring the protection of guest areas, staff-only zones, and sensitive data.
• Collaboration & Communication: Collaborate with Operations, Housekeeping, Engineering, and Guest Services teams to ensure seamless security integration into daily operations and special events.
• Vendor & External Agency Coordination: Liaise with local law enforcement, private security firms, and emergency services to ensure comprehensive safety measures are in place.
• Budget Management & Resource Allocation: Develop and manage the security budget, ensuring cost-effective operations without compromising safety and security standards.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5–7 years of security management experience within ultra-luxury hotels, resorts, or high-profile establishments.
• Proven expertise in luxury guest protection, crisis management, and emergency response within a Forbes Five-Star environment.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and manage security teams while maintaining a guest-centric approach.
• In-depth knowledge of surveillance systems, access control, and emergency protocols.
• Experience working with VIPs, high-profile guests, and high-net-worth individuals is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
• Certifications in Security Management, Crisis Response, or related fields are a plus.
• Familiarity with local, state, and federal safety regulations applicable to luxury hospitality establishments.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $82,000.00 per year
