SkyBridge Luxury & Associates is seeking an experienced Vice President of Finance to lead the financial strategy and pre-opening planning for a luxury beachfront resort with residential properties, a championship golf course, and multiple dining outlets. This executive role is responsible for overseeing all financial operations, implementing financial controls, and optimizing revenue streams to ensure the successful launch and long-term financial health of this premier destination.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality finance, mixed-use developments, and large-scale resort operations, with the ability to strategically manage capital investments, financial reporting, and multi-entity financial structures.
Key Responsibilities:
Pre-Opening & Financial Strategy:
- Develop and implement pre-opening financial strategies, including budget forecasting, proforma modeling, and capital planning.
- Establish financial controls, reporting structures, and compliance policies to align with ownership and brand standards.
- Oversee financial planning for all revenue-generating departments, including golf, residences, food & beverage, and spa operations.
- Manage relationships with ownership groups, lenders, and investment partners, ensuring financial alignment and transparency.
Operational Finance & Budgeting:
- Lead financial oversight of daily operations, ensuring profitability, efficiency, and cost control across all outlets.
- Collaborate with department heads to develop operating budgets, revenue forecasts, and cost-management strategies.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and hospitality financial standards while optimizing financial processes.
Revenue Optimization & Asset Management:
- Develop pricing strategies, financial models, and investment analyses to maximize hotel, F&B, and residential revenue streams.
- Oversee HOA financials, capital expenditure planning, and asset management for long-term sustainability.
- Implement financial technology solutions to enhance reporting, forecasting, and decision-making processes.
Leadership & Compliance:
- Build and lead a high-performing finance team, providing mentorship and professional development opportunities.
- Ensure all internal controls, risk management protocols, and compliance measures are met for regulatory and ownership requirements.
- Drive financial reporting and performance analysis, presenting key insights to senior leadership and ownership groups.
Qualifications:
- 10 years of senior-level finance leadership experience in luxury hotels, resorts, or mixed-use hospitality developments.
- Proven track record in pre-opening financial planning, asset management, and multi-property finance operations.
- Expertise in HOA financial structures, golf course finance, and food & beverage revenue management.
- Strong understanding of US GAAP, IFRS, and financial reporting standards in the hospitality sector.
- Experience working with ownership groups, real estate developers, and investment partners.
- Advanced proficiency in financial systems, data analytics, and revenue management software.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Hospitality Management (CPA or MBA preferred).
