JOB TITLE: Logistician I
JOB LOCATION: NSWC Crane, IN
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
SkyBridge Tactical is looking for highly qualified Logistician I to Provide programmatic and Life Cycle Logistics support for current Electro-Optic Infrared (EO/IR) projects managed by the Electro-Optic Technology Division (EOTD) including programmatic services, procurement documentation development, budget formulation, financial execution and tracking, and technical writing.
Responsibilities
- Provides supply support within the total product life cycle to include support to all Electro Optic Technology Division branches and projects for the disposal of excess government, military property, and already disassembled systems through applicable disposal services, including Defense Logistics Agency disposition services. The position requires coordination with internal and external stakeholders to gather and dispose of material, verification of items, research of demilitarization codes, organization and palletization of material, generation of DD1348’s, etc., in accordance with applicable documents and processes
- Meeting Support. Contractor shall conduct a quarterly or monthly meeting to brief JXQW Branch Manager on the status of disposition Items in queue.
- Integrated Product Team (IPT) Support: Contractor shall participate in Integrated Product support Team in JXQ, as needed.
- Data Management & Data Analysis
- Logistics Management Information Preparation and Logistics Support Analysis
- Shall maintain Status Tracking Worksheet on the JXQW, shared drive and manipulate the data into charts etc. as needed by JXQ management
- Shall offer suggestions and identify potential areas of improvement to streamline the disposition process.
- Creation/Update of Programmatic Documentation Contractor shall update JXQ create and update process documentation, as needed.
- Packaging, Handling, Storage, and Transportation: Contractor shall prepare items for disposition for packaging, safe handling, term storage and transport.
- Contractor shall train government personnel on the DLA disposal process/requirements, as needed.
Qualifications:
- Experienced DOD Logistics, Acquisition and Program Support. Experience in Logistics, Acquisition, Quality, Records Management and Program Support.
- Shall be proficient with computers including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Project and Outlook. Shall be proficient in the use of database applications such as iPDM, SWMS, ERP, and SharePoint.
- Shall be experienced in Inventory Data Base Management and tracking to include receipts, issues, and inventory adjustments using standard and specialized logistics inventory systems including but not limited to Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS).
- Shall be familiar with and able to abide by current OM&S requirements. Must have good communication skills both orally and written.
- Shall have experience with DOD and US Navy requirements for end of life processing of obsolescence and obsolete systems and material.
- Shall be able to lift up to 40 lbs. unassisted and move pallets of 100 lbs. Must be able to work for prolonged periods both sitting at a desk/computer and working on their feet. Must not have limited mobility precluding reaching overhead, stooping/kneeling or making repetitive motions. Must adhere to all applicable safety requirements including wearing appropriate PPE.
- Must be able to pass a Department of Transportation physical for Material and Handling Equipment usage.
- Contractor shall possess, or acquire within 45 days and MHE forklift license and government Mail Card Holder certification.
- Must be customer oriented with ability to effectively communicate across many different disciplined technical points of contact internal to JXQ and the overall NSWC organization, as needed.
- Have the ability to multitask and manage workload independently to assure mission essential schedules are met.
- Active DoD Secret Clearance or Interim Clearance is Required
