Position Details: ABA Therapist
As an ABA Therapist at SkyCare, you'll apply your expertise to help children with autism in a supportive, flexible setting, whether in-home, school-based, or clinic-based environments. You'll work with a compassionate team while utilizing cutting-edge ABA therapy techniques, including Natural Environment Teaching (NET) and Discrete Trial Training (DTT). This position offers you the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in your community while receiving valuable resources and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement ABA Therapy: Apply ABA principles to teach essential behavior and life skills, focusing on communication, self-help, social skills, and play skills.
- Data Collection & Analysis: Monitor, track, and document client progress through direct observation, collecting data on behaviors.
- Collaboration: Work closely with parents, caregivers, and supervising Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to ensure the success of each child’s treatment plan.
- Program Implementation: Teach specific skills as outlined in treatment plans developed by the supervising BCBA.
- Behavioral Intervention: Communicate intervention results and provide feedback to families and the clinical team.
Requirements:
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
- Passionate about working with children with autism and making a positive impact.
- Ability to follow and implement behavior intervention strategies with care.
- Physical requirements: Ability to engage in Floor Time activities and provide sustained physical exertion as needed for up to 45 minutes.
- Strong attention to the safety of the child and their environment.
