Full Job Description:
Join the SkyCare ABA team of RBT's in our mission to help children gain independence, learn essential life skills and reach their full potential! We provide in- home, school-based and clinic-based services implementing a combination of NET and DTT to children with autism and developmental disabilities.
Position Information:
- SkyCare offers competitive compensation: $20-$28 per hour
- Supervision will be provided for BCBA candidate
- Restraint training available if needed
- Part time, part time leading to full time
- Benefits package available for full-time employees
Job Responsibilities:
- Collecting data about behaviors through direct observation.
- Teaching students the specific behavior skills called for in treatment plans written up by the supervising Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Implementing programs based on ABA principles to increase communication, self-help, social and play skills
- Communicating behavioral intervention results to parents, caregivers and supervising BCBA
- Accurately keeping records of client's progress - training provided (familiarity with Central Reach preferred)
Physical Requirements
- Diligently attending to the safety of the patient and surroundings is required.
- Quick and sudden movements may be required.
- Sustained physical exertion may be required for up to 45 minutes.
- The ABA Therapist will be responsible for providing Floor Time activities.
