As an Estimator at Skycrest Homes, you'll play a key role in the financial planning and execution of our projects. Your work will directly impact the success of our custom home builds and remodels by ensuring accurate, timely, and competitive estimates that meet our clients' high expectations. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for residential construction projects.
• Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare estimates.
• Communicate with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors to gather pricing and other relevant information.
• Work closely with the Project Manager to ensure estimates align with project goals and timelines.
• Monitor and adjust estimates throughout the project to accommodate any changes or adjustments.
• Assist in developing and refining estimating processes to improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Provide support for bid proposals and contract negotiations with clients and stakeholders.
• Research and stay updated on current market pricing.
• Lead in the identification of new trades to be included in our bid process.
• Assist in fostering future work by providing high-level estimates on potential remodels.
• Lead in the use of technology to continually enhance client experience.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Estimator (2-3 years) in residential construction, with an emphasis on custom home building and remodeling.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and cost structures.
• Proficiency with construction estimating software and tools.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and architectural drawings.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a keen attention to detail.
• Highly organized and capable of managing multiple estimates simultaneously.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve problems under pressure.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is a plus but not required.

• Full-Time position
• Competitive salary range: $90,000 - $120,000, based on experience.
