About the role :
Skydio is seeking a talented multi-disciplinary program manager to ensure successful outcomes for projects within the Operations organization including new products and sustaining activities. In this role, your contributions will drive quality, speed to market, productivity, production volumes, scaling of manufacturing operations, and profitability.
How you'll make an impact :
- Work with cross-functional product, marketing, customer service, R&D, and operations teams to define and lead the detailed development and implementation plan for new projects, providing operations input and guidance
- Define objectives and metrics for projects with clear exit criteria for each phase to meet schedule, cost, quality, and capacity targets. Run internal operations and production readiness meetings
- Help drive manufacturing and quality process development, ensuring deliverables are being completed on time for a successful project completion. Track progress, communicate, and escalate issues as appropriate throughout the project cycle
- Collaborate with cross functional program managers to run program review meetings, providing succinct status updates, soliciting critical input, and communicating risks
- Coordinate post-ramp qualification activities including ECO implementations, line trials, and system level testing
- Coordinate sustaining activities including international expansion, transition of products to contract manufacturers, and end of life planning
