Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Field Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care in various settings, including home health, nursing homes, and community health environments. The Field Nurse will be responsible for assessing patient needs, implementing care plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ health status, including vital signs and medical history.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Perform specialized procedures such as acute pain management.
- Provide nursing care for patients in various environments, including nursing homes and during home visits.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and families on health management, disease prevention, and self-care techniques.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
- Assist in the management of occupational health programs as needed.
- Support toddler care initiatives when applicable.
Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills and experience:
- Proven experience in a medical-surgical setting or Level I Trauma Center is preferred.
- Proficiency in performing nursing care is a plus.
- Ability to lift patients safely and assist with mobility as required.
- Experience in acute pain management techniques.
- Familiarity with vital sign monitoring and assessment protocols.
- Previous experience working in nursing homes or similar environments is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare teams.

Pay: $35.00 - $38.00 per hour
