What are the responsibilities and job description for the Network Installation Technician position at SKYFY TECHNICA?
Build specifications-based network systems in a variety of environments. You'll interface with multiple engineering and support teams, ensuring you put into production the best product quality possible.
- Low Voltage cable installations (cat5/cat6).
- Cable Plant Testing and certifications.
- PVC/EMT conduit installations.
- MDF/IDF cabinet and patch panel installations.
- Assembly of racks, cabinets, and IT enclosures.
- Fiber cable installations and splicing.
- Other cable installations (coax, A/V).
- Video Surveillance Systems installations.
- Properly terminate and test cable, connect to network interfaces and devices.
- Inventory tools and job materials.
- Document work performance and deliverables.
- Keeping company vehicles and tools properly maintained, clean, and well organized.
- Ping/tracert/arp/ipv4 scanning.
- Wireless AP and bridge signal testing.
- CCTV/NVR setup and access configuration.
- Use internal systems to document, share, collaborate and manage installation schedule.
- Maintain clean and well organized worksite.
- Present a positive image of yourself and company at all times.
- Work from a ticket based system, documenting tasks completed and progress in real time.
Minimum Requirements:
- Advanced knowledge of tool use in line of work.
- Valid Driver's License with a good driving record.
- Microsoft 365 workspace proficiency.
- Self-motivated, disciplined problem solver.
- Hard worker, dependable, and detail-oriented.
- Work well in a team environment.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Drug-Free/Smoke Free

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
