What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mini-Hawk Coach for Summer Sports Camp position at Skyhawks Sports Academy?
Skyhawks Sports Academy is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated coaches to join our team for our Mini-Hawk summer sports camp. Mini-Hawk is designed for younger children aged 4-6 who are just starting to develop their interest in sports. As a coach, you will be responsible for providing a positive and engaging environment that helps our young campers build a solid foundation in sports while having fun.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement fun and engaging sports activities for young children
- Teach basic skills and techniques of various sports, including soccer, basketball, and baseball
- Provide a positive and safe environment for all campers
- Foster a love of sports and encourage teamwork, perseverance, and sportsmanship
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with campers and their families
- Attend all staff meetings and training sessions
Requirements:
- Passion for sports and working with young children
- Experience working with children of various ages and abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Ability to pass a background check
