Skyhawks Sports is a national youth sports leader providing a variety of programs for ages 2 to 14. With over 40 years of experience, we are committed to enriching the lives of children through sports, helping them develop skills that extend beyond the playing field.
As an Operations Lead at Skyhawks Sports, you’ll support the Area Manager in managing day-to-day operations within the Location Territory. You’ll play a key role in ensuring program quality and efficient logistics, working closely with staff to maintain high standards across all activities. This role includes responsibilities in staffing support, inventory management, program organization, directing programs, and administrative tasks. You will be an essential part of delivering Skyhawks’ mission by supporting both field operations and program excellence.
What You’ll Do and the Impact You’ll Make:
- Assist the Area Manager in overseeing the coaching team, including staffing support, training, and team development.
- Conduct regular check-ins to ensure high-quality standards are maintained across all programs.
- Manage equipment and supply inventory, ensuring all programs are properly equipped.
- Support staff scheduling and organize program rosters to ensure smooth operations and accurate invoicing.
- Become proficient with our in-house system for program and customer management, helping facilitate efficient and accurate administration.
- Commit to assigned seasons (8-10 weeks for summer camps; 6-10 weeks for winter, spring, and fall sessions) to provide consistent program support.
- Step in and direct programs during coaching vacancies to ensure smooth program delivery.
Who You Are and What Makes You Qualified:
- Passionate about sports and dedicated to youth development through life skills
- An organized and enthusiastic team player with a desire to grow as a leader and trainer
- Experienced in youth sports coaching and working with children, with a multi-sport background preferred
- Flexible, adaptable, and trustworthy, with some management or operations experience
- A high-energy communicator with strong organizational skills
- Comfortable with both field and administrative tasks, and open to learning new responsibilities

Compensation and Benefits:
- Hours/Work Shifts: This is a year round position where an Operations Lead can expect 30-40 hours a week.
