As a coach, you’ll help young athletes build confidence, develop new skills, and, most importantly, have FUN! Whether it’s a toddler experiencing sports for the first time, an elementary schooler discovering their passion, or a middle schooler gaining confidence, your role is to foster positive relationships and create a meaningful impact.

POSITION OVERVIEW
- Employment Type: Part-Time - approximately 5-10 hours a week
- Compensation: $18 - $22/hour
- Hours: MUST be available in the morning
- Location: Fort Collins Area
- Location is dependent upon active programs and the need for coaches for the programs.

As an Early Childhood Sports Coach, you’ll introduce children ages 2-5 to the fun of sports, guiding them through engaging activities that support their physical, social, and emotional growth. With a mix of play, skills development, and a focus on positive reinforcement, you'll help our youngest players discover the joy of movement in a safe, inclusive, and structured environment. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create a safe and inclusive environment for everyone.
- Plan and implement engaging child development activities using sports such as soccer, basketball, baseball, volleyball and football as the focal point.
- Foster a positive and exciting environment for children to learn, play, and grow.
- Utilize effective classroom management techniques to maintain a structured and organized program.
- Collaborate with our People & Program Manager to implement age-appropriate sports curriculum.
- Communicate regularly with our People & Program Manager regarding children's participation, progress and program goals.
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous experience in childcare (specifically ages 2-5), sports coaching, or education is highly preferred.
- Multi-sport experience is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of early childhood development principles and practices.
- Strong behavior management skills to effectively handle challenging situations.
- Ability to create a positive and supportive learning environment for children.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with children, parents and staff members.
