What To Expect
- Patient Care: Assist the Staff Occupational Therapist with patient-related activities and direct patient care.
- Documentation: Record daily treatment notes and weekly progress notes as required.
- Collaboration: Communicate with supervisors and other health team members regarding patient progress and plans.
- Training: Assist the nursing department with training Restorative Aides.
- Family Support: Instruct patients' families or nursing staff in maintenance programs and caregiver training for discharge preparation.
- Maintenance: Help with cleaning and maintaining the treatment area and report any equipment issues.
