Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the nursing team to ensure quality patient care and adherence to regulatory standards.
- Oversee the development and implementation of nursing policies and procedures.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations of resident needs, ensuring compliance with MDS (Minimum Data Set) requirements.
- Provide guidance on resident rights and advocate for their needs within the healthcare system.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Monitor shift management to ensure adequate staffing levels and effective resource allocation.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of physiology and best practices in nursing care.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages professional development and teamwork among nursing staff.

- Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license with relevant experience in skilled nursing facilities.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.
- Strong understanding of MDS processes and regulatory compliance related to nursing practices.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on resident advocacy.
- Knowledge of physiology and its application in patient care management.
- Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team while maintaining a focus on quality improvement initiatives.
- Prior experience in shift management is preferred.
