ABOUT THE POSITION
The Millwright position is responsible for providing high quality installations, repairs and maintenance throughout the elevators and other company facilities. A description of the duties includes:
- Completion of installations, repairs and maintenance of all mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment on-site;
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance;
- Trouble-shoot and providing critical repairs;
- Promotes company and branch location employee cohesiveness through effective communication, teamwork and shared services;
- Attends training and safety meetings;
- Effectively communicates by verbal and written means with customers, employees and management;
- Maintains and promotes safety awareness; follows safety policies, procedures and reporting requirements;
- Present a clean and professional appearance;
- All other duties as directed by the supervisor.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Valid driver's license
- Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds. The employee may frequently need to climb ladders (may range from 10 to 180) and stairs.
