ABOUT THE POSITION
The Oil Warehouse Technician position is responsible for the filing of oil barrels, bulk tanks, delivery of oil, cleaning and maintenance. Receiving and processing of orders. A description of the duties includes:
- Fill oil barrels and bulk trucks;
- Receives and processes orders;
- Uses forklift and manpower to complete tasks;
- Loading and unloading of oil drums; moving around of drums for filling and storage;
- Fill and pump bulk oil & DEF to prepare orders for customer delivery;
- Loading and delivery of packaged oil;
- Cleaning and regular maintenance of delivery truck;
- Cleaning and maintenance of warehouse;
- Assist management with various site inspections and maintenance;
- Provides excellent customer service by managing difficult or emotional situations; responding promptly to customer needs, resolving questions, complaints and concerns immediately and meeting commitments; reporting such situations to management;
- Effectively communicates by verbal and written means with customers, employees and management;
- Maintains and promotes safety awareness; follows safety policies, procedures and reporting requirements;
- Assists customer with inquiries and provide quality customer service;
- Understands and complies with all state and federal regulations;
- Presents a clean and professional appearance;
- Employee is required to perform all other duties as directed by supervisor.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Basic computer operation skills
- Valid driver's license
- Forklift certification (ability to obtain)
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and the ability to lift 100 lbs.
