Description:
The BBQ Outdoor Grill Master plans, prepares “cookout-style” food items to ensure the highest quality service and experience for customers. This position is very interactive, hands-on, and shows off grilling skills as a display in front of guests. The BBQ Grill Master must be outgoing and friendly to interact with guests while showing off cooking skills. This position will involve cooking with an open flame. They ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and follow food storage procedures.
Requirements:
? Set up and break down workstations.
? Verbally communicate and enforce Food Safety.
? Cook and prepare food according to production guidelines and recipe specifications.
? Inspect equipment prior to use.
? Able to work at a fast pace
? React calmly and quickly in stressful situations.
? Knowledge of food preparation and maintains highest standards of food quality and presentation.
? Ensure food is stored at an approved temperature and follows FIFO.
? Complete temperature log paperwork on a daily basis.
? Complete opening and closing procedures.
? Responsible for using correct portions when preparing and serving food.
? Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils.
? Must be able to safely operate all kitchen equipment.
? Must be able to read and follow recipes.
? Must be able to understand and follow directions from manager/supervisor.
? Must be able to operate Point-of-Sale System when needed
