The Assistant Operations Manager plays a crucial role in supporting several areas of \ of our organization. Duties
- Assist in managing day-to-day operations to ensure smooth functionality across departments.
- Will report directly to property manager on all assigned tasks
- Act as a back up to property manager to fill in for any critical functions as deemed necessary
- Job must be performed from the office
- Thorough follow up on rent collections and all delinquencies in a timely manner
- Must have end to end working knowledge of eviction process
- Section 8 Housing and other housing program knowledge is highly desired
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationship management practices to enhance client satisfaction.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers to secure favorable terms for the organization.
- Oversee administrative tasks, including scheduling, reporting, and documentation to support operational efficiency.
- Implement upselling strategies to maximize revenue opportunities within existing client accounts.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking maintenance requests and ensuring timely responses.
- Collaborate with marketing manager to identify growth opportunities and support marketing efforts
- Ensuring compliance with regulations and maintaining a safe working environment.
- Assist in the administration of housing programs as needed.
Skills
- Proficient in customer relationship management techniques with a focus on building long-term partnerships.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to advocate for favorable contract terms.
- Experience in office administration and organizational management.
- Familiarity with upselling techniques that drive revenue growth.
- Knowledge of leasing software such as OneSite, Appfolio, Entrada
- Ability to work under pressure, deadlines and within team environment
- Understanding of Section 8 housing regulations and compliance requirements is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with strong interpersonal abilities.
