Leasing Manager

Job Summary
The Leasing Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the leasing operations of our properties, ensuring high occupancy rates and tenant satisfaction. This position requires a proactive individual who can effectively manage all aspects of end to end leasing, maintain relationships with current and prospective tenants, and ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong negotiation skills and a comprehensive understanding of property management practices.

Duties

• Manage the leasing process from start to finish, including marketing available units and conducting property tours.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and Section 8 requirements.
• Oversee property maintenance requests and coordinate with maintenance staff to ensure timely resolutions.
• Develop and implement leasing strategies to maximize occupancy rates.
• Negotiate lease agreements and contracts with prospective tenants.
• Handle tenant inquiries, complaints, and conflicts in a professional manner.
• Maintain accurate records of leases, renewals, and tenant communications.
• Conduct regular property inspections to ensure facilities are well-maintained and meet safety standards.
• Provide administrative support related to leasing operations, including reporting on occupancy rates and market trends.

Skills

• In-depth knowledge of Fair Housing regulations and Section 8 processes.
• Full knowledge of processing rental contract process for Housing Resident Clients
• Strong leasing experience with a focus on tenant relations.
• Excellent negotiation skills for contracts and lease agreements.
• Proficient in conflict management to address tenant issues effectively.
• Strong administrative skills with attention to detail in record keeping.
• Exceptional phone etiquette for effective communication with tenants and vendors.
• Use of Social Media Platforms & Housing lead generation tools
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.83 - $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
