Job Description : Account Manager - Aerospace Manufacturing

Position Overview :

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Account Manager to join our dynamic team in the aerospace manufacturing sector. This role will involve managing key accounts, delivering exceptional customer service, and collaborating cross-functionally to drive business growth and enhance client relationships. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in account management, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to identify new opportunities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts in the aerospace industry.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring timely delivery of products and services.
  • Conduct regular touchpoints (weekly or as needed) with customers to discuss their needs, gather feedback, and reinforce relationships.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop competitive pricing strategies that align with customer requirements and market conditions.
  • Negotiate pricing and contract terms with customers to maximize profitability while ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts and in the wider aerospace market.
  • Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop strategies for market expansion and customer engagement.
  • Work closely with engineering, production, and logistics teams to ensure alignment on customer requirements and project timelines.
  • Facilitate communication between departments to address customer needs and streamline operations.
  • Monitor account performance metrics and prepare regular reports for management.
  • Analyze customer feedback and market trends to inform strategic decision-making.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • 2 years of experience in account management, preferably in the aerospace or manufacturing sector or regulated industries.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused mindset.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Preferred Skills :

  • Knowledge of aerospace industry standards and regulations.
  • Experience with contract negotiation and management.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
